Basic Informaion: C9 is colorless or yellowish transparent liquid at room temperature and normal pressure.Flammable, difficult to dissolve in water, soluble in organic solvents.

C9 aromatics is By-product when produce ethylene by Catalytic reforming and fragmentation reaction. main components including Cumene,N-Propylbenzene,Ethyltoluene,Mesitylene,1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene, 1,2,3-Trimethylbenzene indene etc.Normally the the boiling point of C 9 is 153 C, C9 is around 80%～90% in heavy aromatics .which the ratio of 1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene,1,2,3-Trimethylbenzene and 1,3,5-Trimethylbenzene are around 50%, Methyl-ethylbenzene is 20%～25%, during the pyrolysis gasoline C9 is 20%;1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene,1,2,3-Trimethylbenzene,1,3,5-Trimethylbenzene is around 6 %, Carbon 9 aromatics fractionation is complex and boiling point is almost same, so it is difficult to separate them.

Application：As a kind of good solvent and diluent.Mainly used in the replacement of xylene.Due to C9 has moderate volatility and strong solubility to alkyd resin paints,amino paints and nitrocellulose lacquers,It widely used in pain,advanced coating, ink, Automotive paints, pesticides, hydrogen peroxide, insulating materials and other industries.
